This could be interesting if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Maybe it will push Chevrolet to invest more in the SS sedan. The LT1 would be nice along with the new LT4 in a hi-po version (SSS? lol). I wish Ford would develop a RWD sedan in spite of the bean counters.

My question is, when is it coming to Dart?

The Hellcat engine is confirmed for the Challenger and Charger only. Speaking price wise - here is some food for thought... The current Charger SRTs MSRP is $2000 more than the Challenger SRTs MSRP. Given the price of the Challenger SRT Hellcat (when they release that crucial bit of info), add ~$2500 more to the Challenger SRT Hellcat's MSRP and you have the Charger SRT Hellcat MSRP.
The V6 will not fit in the Dart, let alone a V8. More than likey the Dart will get a turbo charged 4. |

Dodge would hurt themselves by putting a V8 in a Dart! I Who would buy it? when Dodge has the charger and the 300 is in the family? Money wise, I don't think it would be smart! I know some of you would buy the Dart! But who else! Plus the price that it would demand, most would pick something else! That's why Dodge wouldn't do it!

I have to assume that rhetorical questions are a rarity around here. Anyway, of course Hellcat will not go into Dart, until someone with too much time and money on their hands does it for the lulz.

I concur. That thing was/is just a terrible idea.

Actually the Dart is a very nice car for the class. the issues were as followa, the 2.0 and 1.4T engines which have been all but replaced with the new 2.4 tigershark for 14 and sharing a lot with the HEAVILY discounted 2014 Avenger and 200. Now that those are gone, the Dart already had it's best sales month EVER last month and sales are impressed to keep increasing.
