blown camaro after 79 miles!!

my friend blew the moter in his 2010 camaro ss auto after 79 miles anyone beat that he was only running 140mph!!!!

Did he know he was supposed to switch gears? I have taken mine over 140 twice with no issues.

That new break-in routine is brutal.

1. Get new car

2. Take it up to 140mph

3. Act surprised the motor blew up

4. Display outrage when the dealer scans the computer and voids the warranty

140 is nothin' for these SS's. I am curious to see what's what once some light get's shed on the subject.

Had mine to 155 in 4th gear and the motor is still running fine @ 970 miles.
