He's selling cars in the bears hometown and wears a packers tie the day after they beat the bears in the championship game. Smooth move.
That's like telling him to take off his green shirt because he didn't like the color. The boss is an idiot.

If there is nothing in the dress code when he got hired about wearing GB ties, then the worker has every right to wear whatever he wants. It doesn't violate anything. The boss is 100% in the wrong.

A green shirt won't cost the dealership money ,but an employee wearing a packers tie in bears country the day after the packers beat them just might.

Besides he told him twice to take it off and he didn't. If he thinks he was wronged somehow then he should sue the dealership. Besides, if he worked for me that would have just proved how stupid he is in not knowing how to use his head, and I wouldn't want him working for me anyhow.

They certainly have everyone talking and it isn't costing them anything to get their name out there. Sure smells like a P.S.

I guess he should change his dress code policy then. I know it probably wasn't the smartest thing for the guy to wear a packer tie, but it didn't break any rules either. The last thing on my mind, if i were in the guys shoes, was that i would get fired for wearing a packer tie.

Me too ,but we don't live in bears country either. My brother works near Philly and when the Yankee's beat them in the world series, there secretary at there front office hung a Yankee banner on her desk. His boss told her to remove or she was fired because they have a lot of philly's fans for customers and he didn't want to piss any of them off. She was smart enough to take it down.

I can hear Bears' fans now about this guy, his Packers' tie, and the Bears, "He deserved to get fired and the Bears won the Super Bowl in 1985."

Bears fans... get over it already. you haven't done jack since.

Face it, you guys choked in the NFC Championship game this year so...

(To the tune of the Chicago Bears Fight Song)

Lay down Chicago Bears, you're out of luck, you really suck so just lay down.

Lay down Chicago Bears, you sucked last week just like the week before.

We can't remember when you thrilled the nation... it must have been a beautiful sensation.

So just lay down Chicago Bears!!!!

I am so sick of the "THIS IS NOT MY FAULT" society. Listen: If your boss tells you that you should remove your tie - remove your tie. It is a pretty simple little thing called following directions.

If his grandmother was a fan of driving 100 mph on a 25 mph street, does it make it o.k. to do so when Johnny Law pulls him over for it?

Wow, talk about a flawed logic. What that guy did wasn't breaking any laws or rules.

I suppose if the boss tells you to jump off a bridge, you're gonna do it?
