Warning,Warning,Warning !!
Beware of excessive drone on axle back straight thru exhaust for 2015 V6 engines, I am sure there are more. To say that the drone is excessive is an understatement, it is beyond belief, unless you have a lift available, big bucks to rectify, in excess of $250.00. Should be a warning stated in advance of purchase.

That was the worst. But it went away for me, 10 years since.

Tinninitus and Chemo and drone.
Always love humor, but don't like the payback. Well as the horney bee once said"there is no place like drone"

Magnaflow 11386 x muffler. Replace your stock H pipe. Pretty universally accepted as the fix for drone, plus it keeps rasp down and makes the tone a bit deeper and more socially acceptable.

I've got the MRT v2, i find it acceptable sound wise. Actually when the car first starts it sounds really nice, but once it's actually running for a few seconds sounds a bit like a ricer.
Keep hearing about the X muffler helping but you tube videos don't seem to help much sound wise. I bought a cordless sawzall a few weeks back on sale. Maybe time to just try it since i need an excuse to try the cordless version haha |
