I have installed the same set up w/ Sony. Wiring issues.

Hello,

It has been my first time ever installing a PAC radio and I have encounter wiring issues... I know is my fault if you could help that would be great!

My issues are as follows:

1. The AC dial circulation button won't come one from the HVAC Dash. As well as the back defrosting button wont come on either.

2. When am driving away the car locks automatically thats the good part, suddenly it starts clicking and unlocking all on its on.

3. My SWC not working... I didn't hook up the SWC Aux cable because the aftermarket stereo Sony don't needed it. I did move the dial to 8 according to the instructions.

I didn't solder the wiring connections. Which am thinking... I might do. I connected all 3 yellow wires to a electric cap as well as 3 black wires another Cap. All the other color wiring where connected using heat shrink splice connectors. A single din installation.

My radio turns on, dimmer works, tuner works fine, the AC cold air works, hazard lights work, chime works, Bluetooth works, locking and unlocking button works... with the exception of when driving unlocking doors on it own. SWC don't work.

The schematic help alot. But am confusing myself with reading the color coding of wiring cables I think a screw up somewhere. The 2 black ground go to the black wiring harness unit correct? 2 yellow go to the yellow to the unit as well. Then should be as simple as color coding red/red, grey/grey/ etc....

Pls if somebody more knowledgeable could help or spot my issue that would be awesome.

It's all good now.

I had connected a wrong cable and was causing all the issues.

Yes. Sony single din with a double din front look.

Everything works great now.

Color match of dash kit bezel???

I just purchased a iDatalink kit and the face plate bezel color is off, a brown tint to it. How is the color match on the PAC???

My head unit comes with a back up cam but I would like a forward facing cam as well. How would I wire both?
