Retainers

Do I need to purchased new titanium retainers when I change out the springs? It`s a BTR STAGE 4 cam with titanium when it was installed.

LOL, not sure, ask Brett. Maybe he just off loaded some steel retainers on me. My dyno sheet showed no signs of valve float so I guess they worked out weight wise plus they are more durable than Ti.

Buy them. $129 is cheap compared to a new engine if you don't replace the retainers. One could break and if that happens and a valve drops you'll be wishing you spent a little more money

Get new valve seals/seats too.
