Looking to add some gauges

I interested in adding some temp gauges to my 1LE.

I would like to add a oil and trans temp gauges. Currently I don't have a trans temp and I'm not real sure how accurate the oil temp is plus I don't like taking my eyes off the track to look at the DIC.

I want to be able to watch the temps on track days. I'm thinking about placing the gauges in a A-pillar pod.

Does anyone know where I can place the sensors in the engine and trans?

Thanks
Craig

Look at autometer 5284. The instructions have where the oil temp goes and if you wanted water too. Not sure about the trans though.

Thanks. I'll look into that kit. Maybe contact Autometer about the trans temp location.

I am running a sandwich plate for my oil cooler and have my oil temp sensor on there. I also have an autometer gauge in a dual vent pod with a wideband sensor.
