If you took the time to actually read the add you will see I have more pics for serious inquiries. Now pat yourself on the back for pointing out the obvious, that I used 2 stock photos, and please move on.

I think the point of adding photos is to show the car you are selling, not a different car.

More pics really enhance advertisments, especially for expensive products like vehicles. There are a lot of components that people want to see before trekking miles to look at it in person. If you want a trustworthy and valid listing, a large number of pictures of various components is crucial.

Feel free to sit on the car for ages wondering why no one is interested. You may even waste a few thousand by needlessly lowering the price.

You used more than 2 of the photos from the bring a trailer listing om your now expired autotrader listing too...

No room or tolerance for trying to deceive anyone. You want to sell your car, lets see your actual car. It's 2019, no excuses for not posting the real pictures from the start.

Look..another guy not interested in buying but happy to insult the original poster. whats wrong with you people. Most anyone looking to buy these cars knows exactly what they look like.. (you are aware they all look the same?) I included a picture of the only blemish that differs from the rest of the Z28s out there. Maybe I give guys like you too much credit. Perhaps you guys are lacking in imagination .. the kinda guys that only read books with lots of pictures too>>?
But to get back on topic.. More pictures ARE available as stated. Seriously, is it really that unreasonable to want the interested party to engage me with a 30 second email to let me know he's interested enough to inquire? You'd be surprised how many people these days just want to waste their time and yours and aren't really interested in buying at all. But thats easy to see when you make my point for me. Now do any of the 3 of you actually want to buy a car or do you want to continue to hijack this thread for your own amusement?

JON...since you don't know me, lets try this again a different way. If you just wanted to know why I used other pics, but didn't know how to ask, please allow me. I used the pictures because it was convenient at the time..Nobodys trying to be deceitful here. Pictures are only good as the camera or cameraman , neither of which Im any good at. I chose the stylized pics in my ad for no other reason than I liked the pictures, not because I'm hiding my car from people as you seem to be implying. My car looks exactly the same as the cars in the ad but I could never make it look that cool with my iPhone camera. I offered additional pics of my car to anyone who shows further interest. My intentions were genuine. The car is as I describe it so I honestly don't see the problem.

Now to be fair, I don't know you either Jon. I like to think you were acting with best intentions as well. You were probably trying to protect your friends and fellow car enthusiasts from the sleaziness that does unfortunately happen these days..and I applaud that..but there are ways to go about it. I would have been more than happy to answer any question you had but instead you chose to insult me in front of your forum friends and make it more difficult for me to sell my car ..which is a shame because its a great car and I need to sell it. Please say your peace and let's call it a truce>> Agreed?
