I would like your opinion on this kit

I had a hose relocation kit installed on my LS3. (but it will also work on the L99). The engineer that designed the kit (Mine was the first installation) asked me to try to get some feedback on it. I myself, think it made a drastic difference in the engine compartment. Especially for you that are going to run without the engine cover, or add a supercharger. I attached the before and after photos so you could see the changes. The install was easy and the parts are better than OEM. The directions are the most detailed I have ever seen, which makes it that much easier. Again feedback.....good or bad....or any questions would be appreciated. To check out the kit and installation instructions go to techafx.com and click on hose kits. I will let the engineer know how the feedback is going and of any concerns or thoughts that I hear. Thanks alot fellow Camaro5 members.

I dunno, I would say it certainly helped clean it up a little, but without the engine cover there's still a BUNCH of exposed wiring that just isn't very aesthetically pleasing.

Did he flip those stainless steel rails around 180º ? That doesn't create any problems, does it?

Yes the fuel rail gets turned around 180 so the extra fuel lines that drape across the intake can be eliminated. It causes no problems at all.

It is not just the heater hose kit, but it also turnes the fuel rails around 180 and eliminates the fuel lines that lie across the intake manifold.

Thanks for the input.....I will pass it on. Keep it coming.....

JDP has a kit that's way cheaper. It uses the 2012 heater hoses and I think the fuel line maybe GM as well.

I knw it's a really old thread.

Yes, It is part of the Techafx kit which also includes several other items. Here is what the engine compartment looks like now.

Fuel rail configuration

Does anyone [GM Engineer] know why the design calls for the fuel line to extend across the entire intake manifold and connect on the driver side?

I expected it had something to do with crash safety.
