Hey dude! There's a car that looks just like yours, always parked at the glass plant, across from FedEx, on Airport Road

Mine has SS badges under the Camaro badges and two other ones with the same color/interior also have them:

EDIT: Autotrader links not working in my post.

Or did people just put them on themselves? (I bought used). If not stock, debating to take them off or not.
None of the 5th Gens had factory installed SS emblems on the side. But it's real simple. If you like them, leave them on. If you don't, peal them off. Personally, I kind of like them. To me, they're like something that should be there, but the factory forgot to put them on. But when all is said and done, it's a matter of personal taste.

Installed them on my car within weeks of taking delivery on my car. I like them and personally think SS emblems should have been put in place of the Camaro lettering.

Me, too. The very first Camaro SS had the badging there (under the script lettering) - GM should have kept with tradition.

It was a dealer add on. The guy that sold it to us included the sticker that was on the window. The dealership charged him $159.00

I put the SS emblems on my car. IMO they should have been there from the factory.
