Thank you. I will have his tuner look into that.

You're welcome. What happens is P0101 sets first, and that throws the car into speed density mode because it thinks the MAF has failed. Then if you go WOT in SD mode it will trigger P0068 and that will shut the whole car down.

I've recently been to the Dijon-Prenois track. At the third corner, up the hill I was going just fine, plenty of grip, then all of a sudden I completely lost the rear end and started into a drift. I almost saved it but the car was so upset from losing the rear end that it just fishtailed in the opposite direction and then I spun five times. Since I forgot to press the clutch the engine stalled, but then, "Service Stabilitrak" came on in the driver information center. I've also seen it come on sometimes in the morning when I start the car to go to work.

How could "Stabilitrak" be broken, and what exactly would need serviced???

I would check your ride height sensors. One may have broke at some point.

There are no messages in the driver information center. The check engine light isn't on either.

I don't have an OBD II scanner, primarily because I don't know which one is a good one to get for my ZL1 and I haven't researched that yet.

Is there some way I can check whether any codes are being thrown without an OBD II scanner?

I'll have to research where they are first
