camaro zl1 Supercharger Rattle ?

I am looking at buying a new 2013 ZL1 . I have read about this problem and the damage it can cause. I also have read about the fix. My question is from what i read GM was going to fix the problem in later model years . How do know if the ZL1 i am looking to buy was made after they fixed it or not ?

Very late 13 is when I read they started to change them as far as looking at the car and telling you can't.

EDIT-I changed mine but don't know when it was made.

I have a 12 and it doesn't rattle, and I haven't heard of it causing any damage.
It only seats itself into the shaft which is normal wear. The replacements can also crack.

The rattle does not affect performance, correct? I have a late 2013 production, I think 7298, so I hope mine is good.

Maybe a better question is, if it starts rattling will they replace it with the new unit and solid isolator?

I have yet to see a part replaced on the SC. It's a unit from Eaton, so the replace the entire assembly.
