That's pretty lame. Doesn't that fall under the false advertisement category? The least they could've done is let you keep those springs to resell and recoup some of your money.

Ha! Thanks, yea I get that a lot. My son doesn't find it very amusing though when I pick him up at preschool and his teacher refers to him as Robin.

Every spring out there for our cars says it's for 2010 to 2015. They are full of crap or just really stupid. Something fishy is going on with them.

I"m sure when I call and get the "camaro specialist" on the phone this morning, and they aren't busy with whatever show they were prepping for, they'll maike it right.

Take care of your local guys at the shop too. If they don't charge you extra for this throw them $100 for helping you handle this issue. They will appreciate it.

It sucks you've gotten the run around like this, hopefully the shop is understanding you just end up being out the time, although I understand their perspective on the double install as well.

Unfortunately we don't have any local shops that I'd trust to order/install aftermarket performance car parts, with the exception of the regional LS engine tuning guru spec'ing engine parts, so everything on my cars gets selected and installed by me. I guess that makes my professional background a blessing and a curse, it's saved myself/the car from catastrophe a few times, but it's also tripled the time on a few installs

just got off the Phone with T.C.

No help with anything. no overnight to get my car back on the road, stuck waiting on ground shipping to get the springs back to them and then ground shipping to get the new springs to me. was told "per our warranty we cannot offer better shipping than what was provided on the original order" . Their parts are incorrect, I ordered the right parts. Although they ARE providing the right parts to me, at no cost of shipping again, I was really hoping for more than a "well just send the old ones back and we'll send you new ones" response. oh well, guess I'm stuck until the correct ones get here.

I am not sure if T.C is the guy that watches these forums, But I apologize if I was a tad harsh from the get go, Two other reps I spoke to on friday were very rude in the process of getting this handled. Not usually one to get flustered but I still dont think this has been handled correctly.

thankfully the shop is understanding and I'll be able to avoid the extra labor. Still give them a bit extra for the hassle.

information

[QUOTE=Low Saturn;10373896]I too have a 2011 SS and ordered BMR springs three weeks ago and installed them a couple days later with no issues. They are also 1.4". Front/Rear springs lined up with the upper/lower spring seats exactly. Didn't specify anything when ordering.

It's good you didn't have problems with the spring installation...How about putting the part numbers you have that's on the springs so others can request the springs according to your good part numbers.
Thank You! "Steakmaker"

This is TC and I am the one that is on these Forums. I was out on Friday (Racing) so I missed some of the Action.

As far as parts go when we make a change or revision, there is a Part Number change
that is internal that you guys don't see.

Here is what happened as far as I know. Lethal2SS Ordered some of our Springs ( Front & Rear), & also ordered New Isolator Pads from Chevy which are the newest ones. Somehow he got the older Revision Front Springs.

Now I wasn't here on Friday so I can't say what was said either way. But we did create a Return Authorization and a Return Label to get the springs back. Now our policy is as soon as I can see that the original springs have been accepted by UPS, I can ship out the parts in the original shipping method which in this case was UPS Ground. We cannot just ship out a part hoping that the original comes back, because sometimes they don't.

Lethal2SS called me this morning to try to get my help with this. He wanted Overnight Shipping. Since the Original Order had Ground Shipping, I would need to charge to Ship Overnight. I'm sorry, but I have to go by the Rules (which I think are reasonable) or I don't have a Job. How this was verbalized on Friday, I don't know, but if could have shipped on Friday Ground, Lethal would have these today or tomorrow. As of now, I believe the Original Springs are still on his car.

BMR wants to take care of Customers, I have no problem shipping out parts if we made a mistake or the part is wrong.

Kevin, we don't make Stock Height Springs, we make Lowering Performance Springs for both V8s & V6s.

Again, TC, I am sorry for my harsh tone as I felt I got the run around on Friday (not your fault in the least). I am at work these last two weeks so I haven't been able to make it over to the shop to pick up the incorrect springs. I should get them out today.

Thank you for your response. I don't think this will prevent me from further purchases from you guys, as I'm in need of a full bushing set and motor mounts, and I dont think anyone else in this thread should take this as a sign to not order from you as well. My time table was just thrown off on getting this done.
