Roto-fab coolant reservoir cap issue

We are starting a thread to keep you informed on the recent cap fitment issue on our S/C coolant reservoir. We have been experiencing an intermittent problem in the molding process. We are continuing testing today to ensure the problem is being taken care of. Part of the testing will involve a pressure check of every reservoir before it leaves our facility. As previously stated, faulty tanks will be replaced by us free of charge. All updates or comments from us regarding this issue will be posted on this thread. Of course, feel free to contact us directly at the shop if you prefer.

been there done that now MULTIPLE times with this tank so I can definitely feel your pain. I also have a replacement unit on the way but thankfully I never planned on using it. I'm ditching my current Roto-fab res for the D3 unit which I know for a fact won't give me any issues.

we're doing the install tomorrow which is gonna make me very happy not worrying about this leaky cap BS no longer. venders like LPE need to ditch this product completely until Roto-fab gets this problem figured out and fixed once and for all.

dispute the charge on your credit card. LPE should be ashamed of that.....

Here's a pic of two tanks. If u look closely at the cap opening, you can see how the tank on the right has a wider seating lip than the one on the left. That's just one inconsistency in the mess. Thank God it's over for me because I just installed my D3 tank that's a thousand times better. Best of all, no chance of having any leaky cap issues.
