'14 Base Model Remote Start Options?
What are your recommendations to add remote start to an A6 2014 Camaro LS base model, what part #s are needed to be ordered? Looks like the OEM version does not work on the LS.
TIA

Knowing the cost and hassle, I would highly recommend staying away from adding an OEM feature to a vehicle that either didn't come with the option or not designed for it. There are many reputable aftermarket products and authorized dealers that can install a remote start for you.

Do folks here have aftermarket recommendations for brands and models of units that integrate well?

You can buy some sort of add-on "OEM flash kit" for $149 that has basic keyfob options that lock, unlock and start your vehicle Viper has smart phone options starting as low as $99.00

Just spoke with the dealer, and you cannot add GM remote start to base models (Camaro LS), I guess it's a different wiring harness.
So I guess I am looking for aftermarket recommendations, thanks for your replies, but I am not sure you are providing a recommendation, or anyone else? Quote:

You can simply Google "2014 Camaro Auto Start". One of the first links is the eBay key fob/flash for $149.00. Will it work? Maybe. Ask the seller. You can Google Viper Alarms to find a local retailer authorized installer. Go out and visit your local Car Toys, Mangnolia Hi-Fi, Best Buy or other local professional Car Audio retailer of choice. If you want IASCA certified professionals, you can visit one of these;

^ Thanks I wasn't certain you were actually recommending those; anyone have any experience with this Fortin EVO-GMT1 unit?:

I generally lean towards Viper in this arena as they are the leaders in this field. If you're looking to stay away from a retail professional then I would call Crutchfield.
