hardened halfshafts?

Now that I have 660rwhp and 612rwtq I need to look at putting hardened halfshafts on and was wondering if anyone else has replaced the factory ones yet and if so what brands did y'all use and are they holding up to the punishment? I would also like to know if y'all changed out the gears in the rear end as well.

I know once I put slicks on my car and it hooks up that the stock halfshafts arent gonna last to long. thanks in advance

Sounds like a broken axle until he gets that worked out. Don't forget the one piece drive shaft.

Uncle Robin runs the stock rear axles with slicks on his 6XX rwhp LSA powered camaro. and he's cutting 1.60 60's with slicks...

There are several companies making stronger half shafts. Hennessey makes some and I can't think of the others. Since you're close to ADM and TSP, i'd check with them to see what they recommend.

Uncle Robin is a professional! His launch was one of the smoothest I have ever seen. The front end just picked up and the car motivated forward smoothly without any bumps or jerks. Thats why he can run stock axles.
