Hate to fuel the fire...I do use RP now, but have previously used Mobil1, in various weights in my other cars. It doesn't suck. What information leads you to believe is "sucks"? Many performance manufacturers consider to be top notch oil. May not be the best, but it's a long way from "sucks"....

And I use regular old GM Dexos, which is full synthetic now, and change it between 3,500 and 4,000 miles.
