This is complete and total !!!! Why did they have to destroy my car? I was ok with the fact that they wrecked a CTF car until I found out it was an IOM car exactly the way I ordered mine.

Did anyone else notice that CamaroScotty was busting on him?

It did drive back from the wreck on its own. No leaks or anything that I could tell. It did sound sad, though...the splitter was scraping along the ground as it rolled by us.

Upsetting that this happened -- I do want to point out that Al and his team took it all in stride - ensuring he was okay before all else. Very classy.

I think that is a key point. I can completely understand why they want to do things different than TG UK. If they tried to copy them completely we would all bash them for it. It does feel like they took one of the most boring aspects of TG UK and made it their main schtick though.

I mentioned earlier that I think the guys are genuinely cool guys and are probably really funny to hang out with, but it feels in the show like they are throwing out canned one liners all the time. My suggestion to the TG US team is to ease off the script some and let the guys speak their mind. I'm sure there are some really funny outtakes they could leave in there as well.

The other suggestion I have would be to approach the show as if you are writing a sitcom about 3 guys testing cars. Maybe then they would develop the characters a little more.

As far as Aaron Gold- I think most of us who have driven performance cars for a while have been there. I have been fortunate not to have actually wrecked any of my Camaros, but I have probably spun every one of them out at some point (exept the new one, I've only had it for a few months). You could probably make a pretty good show of me driving cars until I lost them and then showing the look on my face when I realize I am just along for the ride now.
