Bad news, GREAT news

ok so this morning my mom took my camaro in to get its oil changed, and to also get the brakes checked out since theyre starting to shutter, and i talked to her just a second ago and she said the oil and brakes are ok, but my exhaust system is shot to hell. idk who all has been keeping up with my posts, but i have the 3.8 with a dual exhaust (just discovered it to be a flowmaster), and the right side of it sat about 2 inches lower than the left, i think i have a pic of it, but anyway the mechanic said that it could leak carbon monoxide into the cabin and put me to sleep, and its about to fall off

so thats the bad news, the great news is that im getting a whole new exhaust!! she even told me to go on the internet and to find an exhaust system that i like, as she figured i would want one that sounds badass, which is exactly what im looking for im not to sure about price range, but she told me to go on flowmasters website cuz i guess they have audio clips of their exhaust systems and pick out the one i like (ive never been to their site, but ill look)

so im asking you guys, what should i get? i want something that sounds mean, and loud too. any suggestions and audio clips would be very appreciated.

oh and p.s. if theres an exhaust that would make my car sound like a TIE fighter out of star wars, let me know

GMMG is good stuff, I have Hooker on mine because it was cheap and it sounds good. Your car doesn't rev high enough to make a TIE fighter sound, it's not a Ferrari

Magnaflow makes a fairly nice Stainless Catback on the cheap...As in under $400. Shouldn't sound too whirly-giggity on a 3800 assuming you still have a cat on it...
I'd look for a takeoff stock Z/28 system if It were me, however...

That's the Magnaflow I was talking about. they have a decent tone at lower RPMs- trouble is, when a bent-six spins up they tend to take on an Evinrude from the Rescuers wail...

ok i just looked at GMMG's website, and they only have 1 exhuast system? i can only find one on their site, idk if there is more, but if this is the only exhaust system they have, would it fit a v6?

GMMG only has THE exhaust system

Not sure about fitment on a 3800. Might need some light fab work. Whoever installs your exhaust could handle it. Not sure how it would sound on the v6 though. You might want to go with something a little more tame, or else it'll sound like rice-a-roni.

the 3.4 and 3.8 sound nothing a like. magnaflow and borla are the 2 best choices for the 3.8, flowmaster is the worst.

heres mine with the Borla Pro XS.

I really like the deeper, more throaty menacing sound. I wish that GMMG had a v6 variant
