Vert disappointment -HELP

I placed my order at Marc Heitz in Norman Oklahoma on 18 Dec. I spoke to my salesman this and he told me it was at 3000. I asked for the order number and he said he would told with the "order guy" by Friday. I received a call from the "order guy" just now and was told he HASN'T placed my order yet. He doesnt have an allotment until next week. I do not know what to do.
1. Stay with current dealer and reset my thinking
2. Find a new dealer.

If I stay with the current dealer, what do I ask for as compensation or guarantees. HELP

He could of placed your order but if he did not have allocation it would of just stayed at 1000/1100. I had the same problem. The dealer did not have an allocation for three weeks. All is good now but I almost started to go somewhere else. Most dealers do not know what they are doing when it comes to the ordering process. At least you know this dealer will be getting an allocation. If you like the dealer stay with him but if you have many other dealers in your area you might want to check them out before you cancel your order.

OSUPride That is where i recieven my car from, what are you looking for exactly cause i am here in the area and know a few dealers that i could make a call to and help you out. I got annoyed by MARC HEITZ and used camaro5 to track my car. I walked up to MARC HEITZ and requested the order number in person. If you want to stay with them i can help you by talking to the guys for you. This was my second camaro i bought from them so they owe me.

I thought the dealers already had all their allotments for the 2011 convertibles? I didn't think they were going to get any more?

We were told how many convertible allocation we would get for the 2011 model year convertible, however our allocation is spread out from Jan to June.

And we weren't supposed to get any more but crazy things sometimes happen...we got awarded a BONUS convertible, so we get an extra one!

It just amazes me that this continued dishonesty from dealers still exists in a rather alarming amount. How do they NOT realize in the end they will lose by using these business practices? I just don't get it.

If you really like the dealer you are with then stay with them. I waited 2 weeks before my order was picked up. It was well worth the wait.

I decided to stay with them. I called around and staying with them gets me the car the fastest. I'm just 3 weeks behind where I thought I was :(.

You could always talk to Eric Hall at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. He made my order an outstanding experience.
