Dropped car off at so called reputable detailer this morning, car looks great. Except my hood...guess they used some kind of wax on hood, have a white haze and shiny patches, looks like crap...tried al purpose cleaner, no luck any suggestions

If it's wax you can use a mixture of water and vinegar on it.

I will have to make sure my detailer takes note not to use any products on hood... I'll take care of it myself . I would take care of entire car myself but I'm only home 2-3 days a week. Enough time to drive a little on monday then wash it afterwards then to work I go.

I'm assuming you meant detailer, not letting that knuckle head anywhere near my car again

No one should wash and wax your car except you.

In your opinion. Some of us only have a limited time to spend time at home and get things done. Just like some people believe that nobody should work on your vehicle other then yourself. Well, if you can afford it why not have someone take care of something that you don't have time for?

I've tried two hand wash outfits in the area. While convenient one dented my quarter flare which I had to fix at a dent repair shop and both created horrible swirls. When I wash myself I follow the two bucket method and I air dry the car with a leaf blower making it streak free and swirl free.

I asked if anybody had any suggestions to help me, not who should wash or wax my car. If you don't have any suggestions then I suggest you find somewhere else to troll

Something else I use on mine to clean the hood is general purpose automotive cleaner. Leaves no marks at all.

there is an adams product video regarding the care of the vinyl wraped hood. they even go into detail about how to remove unwanted wax or other products you got on the wrap. check out the adams site. it may help

i did a quick search and tried to find the vid without success. id call up adams premium car care and they will send you what you need

Just mentioning, if you used an all purpose cleaner to try and remove it ,it may have dripped down the side of your car possibly stripping any wax that was just applied.
