They both shift at 7500 rpm or so with the boss.
AED E85 tune,Boss 302 intake, 47lb. injectors, cat deletes, 3" exhaust on a stock air box =11.90s@120 on street tires. I'll see if I still have the video.

You must have the slowest track in the country, for 5.0s.

PS my car weighed 3430 lbs with me in it.

Car weighs 110 lbs less than my friend's c5 auto vette.

I have Competition engineering 3 way drag shocks set at 50/50 rear, lower control arms, panhard bar, weld-in subframe connectors.

Car is good for 12.2-12.3 on tire.... did 12.4 on all season street tires. With 3.90s it should run a little harder.

How does your car weigh less then a c5? Here are the weights for a c5
Targa 1,472 kg (3,245 lb)
Convertible: 1,473 kg (3,247 lb)
Hardtop: 1,439 kg (3,172 lb)

Weight for a Phase II 4th gen is 3470. So you either stripped 300 pounds out of your car or you're doing the math wrong. I had a 4th gen, not a whole lot of places you can strip the weight out of that thing.

What an idiotic statement. Obviously have nothing to contribute.

If you dig further online you find that the automatic c5's weigh 3300-3400 lbs. I can bring up the multiple links that state that if you can't find them.

Regardless, on the same scale friend's c5 weighed 3390 and my f body weighed 3285 lbs.

My f body weighed 3410 lbs full weight, regardless of what your wikipedia numbers state.

My 01 auto was also 3450 with almost a full gas tank and full weight but the same C5 coupe auto hardtop should very well be 200lbs lighter or in the 3250lb range. For your friend's C5 to weigh 3390 does indeed seem heavy. Are you sure he didn't have 150lbs of add on equipment?

We ran each other then right after the pass weighed both of our cars. Seemed kinda high, he doesn't have any extra stereo equipment though.

Oh yes that was so idiotic considering more than one source will put a C5 automatic at much less than 3390lbs. And I'm sorry to disappoint you junior but Wikipedia is the last resource I'd use. In any case I was merely adding to a comment made by someone else. With your credibility it isn't like it's a surprise some one said you were full of shit any way.

Full of shit about what? What a tool. Talking about my credibility when you use wikipedia to find out weights of cars.

Here's the C5. He's a friend of mine, his name is Randy Cothran. Want me to make a video just for you with our cars on the scale?

Are there some 5.bro internet heroes here or what?

Here's the best run my friend has had in his 2012 mustang gt. It put down 420 whp.... He traps 114-116.

Nope, we are just used to the slow non-driving garbage you usually post.

A stock automatic with a tune is maybe a 12.5 car at best here.

My track isn't a downhill unicorn prepped track like cecil where the DA gets negative.
people like to compare times from different tracks from different times of year even though it's irrelevant.

they also like to think that all 5.0's are 12.3 @ 145 mph cars stock even though most mags put them in the 13.0-12.8 around 110 range.

you want to know how you compare to a similar modded 5.0? line up against one. oh wait...
