Train Derailment near Oshawa GM Plant
I hope this doesn;t delay the shipping process, since cars are being shipped by train too.
Train Derailment Sparks Fire In Oshawa Friday June 5, 2009 CityNews.ca Staff Investigators in Oshawa are at the scene of a CP train derailment. It happened on Park Rd. South around 2pm, with several cars coming off the track. At least one is reported to have caught fire but it's not yet clear if there was anyone on board the vehicle or what it may have been carrying - although witnesses say they may contain some kind of fluid. Smoke is being reported to be billowing out, and a one kilometre-area around the afflicted train is being evacuated - including several nearby schools. But officials point out it's purely a precaution. A witness named Tara was standing on the overpass at the bridge when it happened. "[There are] about a dozen train cars that are still on the track and further down, about 12 cars down, they are definitely cars sideways across the track," she told our sister station 680News. "I can see smoke starting to billow over the top of the trees. "They just all sounded like they were all smashing into each other when the train was stopping. Like it didn't sound like a normal train stop. They were actually like, pounding into the back of each other." Unlikely any cars were on that train because it sounds like the train was east of the plant. Most trains head west from the plant.

I just checked back with the dealer. He says my status went from 4800 to 4801 (Derailed - please wait anther 8 months) Massachusetts has a waiting period to buy a gun so I purchased rope instead. I think the ceiling beams will hold me.
