Taking off driveshaft to get to fuel tank

Hey Guys,
Just have a quick question. I am changing out the fuel pump and have to drop drive shaft to get to it. I was reading on the forums that you cannot reuse the rear drive shaft bolts. Like in this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119467

So do i have to buy new bolts before i reinstall the drive shaft? Is there aftermarket stronger bolts?

thanks
Sam

I would not reuse them. They have been torqued tight once and there are many cases where OEM ones have broken. I would check with vendors on here for better replacements.

Maybe call Ted Jannetty or ask APEX-Chase what he thinks.

They're one time use only according to the service manual. Why take a chance on the bolts breaking and having the driveshaft tearing up the underside?
