Any 5th gen? How about a V6? Would it require any modification for install and operation

Yes, bolts up to a V6 with no issue. The only "modification" needed would be room for the quad tips. But thats easy, you could just replace the valence.

Yes I kind of figured that part. But specifically
are the pipe diameters the same?
are the hanger locations and pipe, muffler routing and locations the same
Any welding required
Any programming or chips or... required to make the vales open like they should at correct RPM
Finally -will it sound good with a V6

I replied to your PM.

To answer your questions..

1. No, my diameter is full 3 inch.
2. Hanger locations and everything are the exact same, no welding or any modification needed.
3. No programming or anything needed, valves are open.
4. One of my buddies has a V6 with the same setup. Sounds much better than your stock exhaust.

Almost positive the NPP is 2.5 for both the ZL1 and 1LE, 2.75 on the Z28.

My apologies. I looked it up and you're right. A fellow Camaro buddy of mine told me it was 3 inch.

I stated I was wrong.
2.5 or 3 inch will not make an ounce of difference for your V6.
