Agree, here in Mesquite we only have a handful of Camaros; most are black with a couple silver and one red (that I've seen). Ironically, we have high winds and dust storms on average about once a week; guess those of us that went with black are just masochists at heart

There's a reason they didn't make that many silver colored Camaro's.. Think about it..

Had 2 white 4th gen Camaro's and on my second, I had wished I'd gone Silver. For my 5th gen I did and love it.

I said it before...if the 13 to 14 Camaro was the only option for that car.....its possible a Mustang would be in my driveway. Thankfully it wasn't.
The 14-15 refresh tailights look exactly like the '69, especially on the non RS models The '10-'13 looked like some goofy interpretation of the 2nd gen, but they're square-ish instead of round.

The older front grill/bumper got instantly dated (and not in a good way) when the 14-15 update arrived. The updated grill and bumper made the car a lot less "goofy" and "cartoonish" which was a good thing.

I'd say the 14-15 update was the best refresh the Camaro ever had except for the '84 to '85 update on the old 3rd gen. For me, if the Camaro still had '10-'13 style tailights, I wouldn't have bought one. The 14-15 refresh made the car look wider and sleeker so I had to buy one. With the way the 6th gens are going, it looks like I'll be keeping my 5th gen forever.

Who's sensitive? A supercharger kit from Overkill will cure that. Then again, the early '10-13 owners could just swap front and rear bumpers and cure their dilemna too. ☺

I had a 1986 Chev Corvette Convertible Indy 500 Pace Car that was silver. Loved the car, not so much the color. But I was having a hard time finding one so I settled.

I'm going with the 84 Camaro. GM nailed it with the 85 Iroc tho. I had an 84 Z28 loaded with t-tops, and back then, you just didn't see them. I had 3 Iroc-Z's also. Other than that, I think its the 14-15 I like the most in this generation. I'll probably get a 14-15 1LE soon.

That front end on the refresh doesnt look as good the 10 -13. The headlights are way to narrow and really takes away from the classic look. Say what ya want...like ive said if the 14-15 was my only Camaro choice.....there would likely be a 5.0 in my garage. You keep yours.....and ill keep mine. Zero interest in getting a 5th gen refresh or anything near a 6th gen.

No way is the 14-15 “the best refresh the Camaro ever had”. It was purely cosmetic, whoop dee doo. The 4th gen refresh in ‘98 got the LS1, I’d consider that way more significant.

And plenty of people will say just the opposite. When I saw the ZL1 at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show, I had to have one. As soon as I saw the ‘14 refresh, I knew I would only own a ‘12-13. I never even considered a ‘14-15 in my search. There was a huge thread on here with a heated debate about refresh back when ‘14 was unveiled, just like you find on Camaro6 today about ‘19
