Had my eyes opened yesterday.

Hi everyone,
I own a 2012 Imperial Blue 1LS. Yesterday at work I noticed that someone with either a Blue or Black ZL1 had parked next to my car. I have always loved the look and stance of my car (appart from the Heritage wheels of course) but with that thing sitting right next to it I got a reality check. I want that look!
I'm not looking to make a clone out of my car but I would like an aggressive wheel/tire package that will give me that more muscular stance. I'm about to get my tax refund and will be able to spend some money soon so I was looking for some advice on what will give me that sort of look without breaking the bank.
Suggestions?

This is my first time posting to the site but I've been a reader for a while and know that these threads can be helpful to some people.

Drop springs are about 300 bucks.

If your not concerned with getting top of the line, you can get some entry level tires and wheels for less than $2k . That along with a set of springs, will give a much different look.

I saw my first ZL1 in motion on I-95 last week. It was coming up behind me slowly and as it got close, I thought, damn that looks sick. Let it pass me slowly and was really impressed how menacing the ZL1 looks compared to the SS I had.

I tried to get some attention from the driver but he was so old he was doing what he could to see over the steering wheel. Ironic the 70y/o in the Camaro driving next to the 33y/o in the Cadillac lol

Some larger wheels with lower profile tires would help but wouldn't be cheap. Figure around $1500 for an inexpensive set of 20"s with tires. 19"s would be cheaper. lowering springs would be the cheapest way to get a sportier look and they would also improve handling a bit.

Get the Rideskinz aggressor front fascia, ZL1 siderockers, a nice set of 20" rims (black), and a bigger spoiler and you are there. Just about $4250.

Even finding a set of stock RS or SS wheels will help it it look bigger, OP. Check the marketplace

I have thought about getting a set of RS wheels and tires but I'm waiting to find some local since shipping is such a big cost. Really like the new ones that come on the 2013's.
Thanks for the advice everyone!

I would go drop springs for sure! I don't have them on mine yet, but I am getting them in May. I never thought I would get lowering springs, because I didn't think it made much of a difference but then I saw a side by side comparison between my stock spring 2LT and another 2LT that had 1.2" springs on it, and the difference was huge! Much more aggressive stance with lowering springs

Check the market place, plenty of OEM 20's on there, you will find some close to you if you keep looking.

Get new wheels. My stance is more aggressive than a ZL1, and I drive an LS lol. 20X10.5 all around, 295 up front, 315 out back. Check my sig for pics.
