And from experience I can tell you you have it completely reversed. 3vs advantage is down low with the big torque advantage, if he drives it right he'll pull lengths and the rest of the race he'll just hold the lead. V6 camaro has better top end, 6 speeds vs 5.

Those tires are honestly terrible for drag racing, very stiff lol . The 20s are slowing you down too of course but they do actually make the car easier to launch. If you can get off the line and cut a 2.1-2.2 60' I think it will be a close race. I doubt you'll cut anything better than that but unless hes a good driver he'll probably cut 2.3s-2.5s which should give you the W.

Good luck!
I raced a 3v auto with 4.10's from a dig in my 5at g35... He got a car length ahead to 70, but reeled him in past that and fendered him right at 100.

i raced a stick 3v with similar mods in my auto 3v, he had 3.55's i had 0 issues walking away from him from a roll, simple matter of fact is not everyone is a perfect driver. but an auto will always be preset to be awesome. i'd bet on auto to win more often then stick in real world or drag. it's about consistancy if you want to keep that good favor with people. hell one bad pass and you'll be on video running poop times and be all over the world looking a fool.

Who here remembers my V6 Camaro's first outing...

Car was 3 or 4 days old... lined up against our buddies Shelby GT, (NOT a GT500).

With a good driver, traction and good DA that GT should be a low 13's car. With bad DA my cai and tune 08 GT auto was a mid 13's car. I don't know much about the V6 but if your mods can run low 13's it should be a good race. Of course anything can happen with novice drivers so good luck.

I have a 2011 V6 Camaro: Automatic, CAI, Long tubes, high flow cats, cat back exhaust, trifecta tune, isolator, ported intake, ported throttle body. Tires are motivos. Camshafts are on the way so I could potentially wait for those to be in my car too.

Don't know we will get to a strip. But I'm curious what you all think.

Oh and we are both noobs who have never been to a drag strip....
race him and tell us who wins

The difference between 3.55's and 4.10's is huge on those cars. My Shelby GT came with 3.55's and I swapped them out.
