whta do you think would be the price to install the new hurst shifter? i am getting a 1 to 2 hour install time for about $175.00 to $200.00. Is this a reasonable price?

I was quoted $80 to $120, which I am assuming is 2 to 3 hours estimate and this is the first one they are doing and not sure how long. 40 an hour is great not sure if everyone gets that price I go to them for everything. Hourly rates always gonna vary dependig on location and market.

That's decent. Just calculate your own times worth and ability. $90 an hour is reasonable.

a buddy of mine was going to do it in the driveway, but he told me that it would take us a morning to do since we don't have a lift to make it easier

Install
Thats about what I thought it take me (3-4 hours) and I would have to work in the street since my driveway is on an incline. I'm stopping by my local trans shop today to find out how much he'll charge.
