I spoke with Jim Guthrie today and here's what I've arranged. Jim will attend our meeting thursday also

CAMARO Show & Shine Night at the Races

Come out to the NAPA Speedway on Saturday, May 12th at 5:00 pm to show off the beauty of the Camaro and enjoy the season opener for all six divisions of asphalt racing. Old and new Camaros are welcome to come out and join the fun!
We will open the asphalt Promenade area behind the main grandstands to a Show and Shine from 5:00 pm until 9:00pm.
All participants and their passengers receive free admission to the races.
Join us for the Midas Mufflers/Speedee Oil Change sponsored racing event. Gates open at 5:00 pm and hot laps start at 6:00 pm. Adult beverages from Rio Grande Brewing and great concessions from McKernan and Pudge Brothers pizza.
For a map to the track go to NAPAspeedway.com

For more fun in your Camaro give the road course a try with private instruction from Indycar racer Jim Guthrie. A special offer of $30.00 per car for four hours of on-track fun and driving experience, on Saturday, May 19th, from 8:00 am until noon. Helmets are available for free at the track. Riders are allowed, so if you don’t want to drive come out and take a free ride!

My V6 isn't impressing anybody on the track.
Melody I have a V-6 also, it's not about impressing anyone, it's about having fun and learning about your car and improving your driving skills. The V-6's are very well balanced for this road track whick is not so much a high speed track as it is technical.

I kinda felt the same way until I got on the track and seen how fun it is.

I have to thank Howard for convincing me to get on the track because I had a blast.
