One of the best posts, even if a little off topic. LOL.

Just because magazines will not compare different year cars, does not mean we cannot road test them together here. After all, this is the Internet!

Gotta love those HellCats, they are not so bad on the track! Do they pull timing? They are underrated so when they do pull timing they might drop to 700 at the crank. Also a little off topic.

Ive never had issues with comparing old and new either.

Sure the new stuff usually has an advantage, as it should, but it's fun.

And yes, the Camaro Reunion picture has been an internet sensation for years now.

Thankfully, Chevy didn't do something foolish like turning a Cavalier into a Camaro just to keep the name alive. (Pinto =>Mustang).

Agree. In the Pony wars, the 13/14 GT500 was the 1/4 mile benchmark. Z/28 the track star. Ya gotta beat the champ if you want to be the champ.

Actually, there was a lot of potential in the Pinto that gets lost in all the commotion over the details surrounding its gas tank.

The only picture I could find of the '72 I had back in the 70's. Way not stock, pretty cheap to build up, and nearly all of the mods were under the skin. Maybe think GT150.

My sister had a 75 Bobcat with a V6 that was actually pretty fun to drive. I on the other hand had a 75 Monza with an 11:1 compression 327 ci stuffed in it and that sucker was like engaging warp-drive

Fun times indeed, as long as you didn't mind getting your hands dirty.

Y'know, that steering wheel looks for all the world like somebody raided the Vega GT parts bin (too easy)
