I didn't like the G2s and they didnt last long either. I've had great luck with Pilot SS and now the 4S or is it S4? Those tires though.

oK so Nitto not best choice no Goodyear no mich, want a sticky tire for 1-2 summers 305/30/20 so what tire help please.

Why are you looking at 30 instead of 35? The ZL1 ran 35s the Z/28 ran 30s. I'm currently running 285/35 × 295/35. My intention is to 295/35 x 305/35 for my next set. The 30s are roughly 1" shorter I'm at 1.1" drop right now and the ties tuck perfectly. The whole deal with the Z/28 fender flares/lips was to compensate for the shorter tire. They still stuck out a touch in front. BTW the Pilot 4S tires are available in all the sizes we're talking about.

the nitto motivos are pretty good. not sure if they make them in the sizes your looking for. i have them in 275/315 set up
