Stock for stock with same driver skills would give the Camaro the win vs an LS2 goat. Good race though. LS1 goat is slower. FYI 2004 GTO LS1 2005-06 LS2

A customer who comes into my friends coffee shop owns a 06 Goat with the LS2 and a LS3 Camaro. He said off the line the Goat has the edge, but it doesnt take long for the Camaro to run it down and walk away from it.

I say the 2010 Camaro SS will win (equally driven cars)

on a side note: A few years ago i raced a LS2 auto GTO in my fairly stock 02 WS6 and beat it in the 1/8th by a 1/2 of a car or so.

Ls1 goats are slow. Ls2's are abit faster but still a little behind the ls3 camaro.

My best time in my former LS2 GTO was 13.1@107. Hard car to launch without better tires, 245 size all-seasons out back!

It's a drivers race but the Camaro has the hp advantage, all things being equal it'll pull GTO from a roll and squeak ahead in the 1/4.

I haven't looked up LS2 GTO stock times, but there are several 2010s with very low 13s and 12.9, 12.8, and even a 12.6..

I am fairly certain the 2010 is a bit faster than .1.
