Boston acoustic help

I have a 2012 Camaro 2lt with Boston sound system.. I bought this car and the rear deck 6x9 speakers were blown.. I bought some new kicker 6x9 speakers and had them installed but they don’t sound near as good or as loud as the front speakers.. The guy who did it claims that the 6x9s won’t sound like they should unless I replace all the speakers.. He also didn’t use an adapter to connect them he spliced them into the wires from car.

Please help!!

The 6x9 BA speakers are deeper with more excursion than the Kickers. They're also
2-ohm speakers, and you replaced them with 4-ohm speakers. You cut the power
output by almost 50% with the 4-ohm speaker.

The BA speakers are 50watts @ 2-ohms.

With those kickers, more than likely, you're at 25watts power output at 4-ohms.

Wiring doesn't matter, as long as it works.

You need Kicker 2-ohm replacements to keep the volume. You could have bought the
BA replacements on eBay for $70 or less.

Do you need a set of rear speakers?

I want front and rear BA speakers. I have the basic system, no AMP, I just
want to raise volume by lowering the ohm load.

I thought having the stock ba system = premium sound option which comes with an amp....was there another option?

I can’t remember if I threw mine in the trash or not when I replaced them. I will look today and see. If I still have them you can have them, just pay shipping.

I don't need an AMP, because I don't have one. I just wanted the lower OHM
speakers. I do not have a center channel either...

I will keep these in mind, I have so many people that WANT to sell me their BAs, but
they keep flaking out... Just got someone on FB that asked me about his, I asked
for shipping to my Zip, and I guess he got amnesia...
