hopefully by the middle of next week I’ll have them on and the car cleaned up. I’m thinking it’s going to be battery time soon as well. I’ve noticed the last few times I’ve started it (only been about 3-400 miles total since I bought it) that the roll up and down windows message comes on, I get the relearn done and it’s good till the next time it sits. It’s the original battery from early 09.

There's a 70 Camaro roller for sale here locally. Originally a 350, 4 speed car but no motor or tranny. The guy is asking $11,500 for it. I'm considering offering $10K to see if he bites.

The car is pretty straight and clean with only some minimal surface rust. To make it a driver with a passable paint job would require another $10K at a minimum but it would be a cool ride when done. I'm not interested in show-car quality so I think it's doable for $20K or less.

I love those early 2nd gen Camaros and Firebirds.
