Wonder how many people, myself included, now stall the damn car for the first time because we're thinking about this thread...

It's funny to see this thread, because I was in a 2SS, early in the week, and was playing with the clutch pedal and shifter and thought it was just really weird feeling. I don't recall my '95 feeling like it did, and my 4Runner feels different too. It's like it's really sticky, in a way and not as linear as I thought it would be. Maybe it'd be different while the car was running, but just playing with it while it was parked, I wondered how many times I'd stall it because of how it felt to me.
LOL - funny topic

Only once. I was trying to back up to adjust for turning into a parking space at work. I was still coasting forward a bit when I tried to hit reverse and it locked me out of reverse and I ended up letting the clutch out from a stop in 5th gear instead.
I'm thankful to have not stalled at an intersection because of the amount of attention the car already gets. I don't need that kind of audience on a stall. |

How is the clutch compared to the 07 Civic? And how about the Camaro's throttle tip-in? Easy to manage creeping along in traffic?

I only test drove one in Carlisle but I did stall it once the grab point on the clutch seems very small compared to the other sticks I used to drive. Once you get used to it after a day shouldn't really happen anymore

3 times in 2100 miles..music too loud and no SLP resonance equals no rumble in pants to gauge rpm's with music.
