Quick Question

I just purchased this app for my iphone that tracks various things about your car such as 0-60 and quarter mile. When inputing info about your camaro, it asks what the drivetrain loss (apparantly a %). I have an auto SS L99. Does anyone now what the drivetrain loss is? thanx

Did you get the dynolicious app, and if so let me know how it works for you? I can't get my app to work, it's probably me screwing it up.

I use it. The times are pretty damn accurate. The HP will be more fluxing. I know what you're talking about. Put in 0 (zero) because you want the HP to the wheels anyway. If you try to estimate the loss from the crank then you'll only create more variables.

Basicaly if you put the % loss in, it will estimate a Engine HP. If you put in 0%, it will give you road to rubber HP.

Why can't you get it to work. I LOVE this freaking thing. Tell me what's up. I may be able to help.

You can pretty much use the times on it as accurate. HP, not so much but I think within 10 or so. My Dyno today showed between 313 and 315 on the second two runs and the iPhone app said 311.

I am using this one, and looking at Rev as well. Rev needs an OBD II transmitter though and if I am going to get one of those, I am going to get software for a laptop. So far so good with Dyno.

I've got the app, but haven't used it yet. Where have you been setting the phone to get an accurate reading?
