Day by day, people get more stupid on the road and think the laws and someone else's property doesn't mean nothing to them. Sucks to see something like this but its repairable. New rear quarter will be necessary unless they sand all that down and repaint but that's highly doubtful.

I will use the dealership since they repainted my rear bumper and it turned out brand new. Or do u guys think that's not a good idea? And wow I didn't think it would cost that much.

Insurance? This isn't your fault. Might hurt your 'at-risk' factor, but you shouldn't have to pay for this... nor should your premium go up.

I'd say, use them. If they already did the rear bumper, the paint match should be easy. Insurance will cover you, minus a deductible, so it shouldn't be too painful, huh? Sucks that people can do that and run away.....

Sux, Homey. But unlike us, ALL Camaro parts can be replaced! Count thy blessings, I 'spose.

that is terrible. try reaching to any of the local car clubs and see who they can recommend. Most of the time as long as body shops are approved by major insurance companies they're good. But then again you never know. With that color i'd prefer a shop based on a personal reference. Last thing you want is a place that can't blend well.

If your dealer does good body work go to them. Mine is great, had a few touch ups on both of my Camaros from them over the years.

I don't know what dealership you used but I can recommend Reedmans new body shop. They just fixed my '16 impala that someone did a hit and run while parked. They're in langhorne right off Rt-1.

Is it possible there might be a security camera somewhere that recorded it? Maybe a neighbor has one installed?

Probably a cabbie. I was in a cab once in south Philly, where the driver actually drove up on the sidewalk to get in front of someone going "too damn slow". I actually gave him a bigger tip.

Def not a $4-5k job. New bumper, the rear quarter can be repaired. The hardest part is going to be blending the paint. prob closer to the $2-2.5k. The rim damage is eaily fixed prob $100
