Throttle hesitation

Took the Z out today finally and once again noticed some throttle hesitation. I'm still breaking in the engine so not going hard, but coming out of corners the engine takes a second or two before it reacts to my throttle. Any suggestions of what's causing this?

I do not have the same experience with our Z. For throttle by wire I was amazed at how responsive this car is.

Not sure what you have going on.

Are you in a PTM mode when this happens?

Were you in 3rd? There is a feature in this car that allows you to come out of corners with WOT and the car will control when to apply the power as it senses when it's straight. I think...

only in PTM modes is this feature active. You can hear & feel the throttle reduction.

What mode is the car in? All modes expect track 5 cause throttle hesitation. Its in the owners manual.

I like it on a wet track. Really kept me in a straight line.

I had this same problem the first time I tracked the car and was told that is normal.

Its the ptm mode you are in. The computer will modulate how much power you can put down.
