Shorty Headers

I livei n cali and because of that i can't put on LT headers and pass smog. My question: is will buying shorty headers do more then whats already on the 2016 2ss? I'm looking at buying this since is smog legal JBA Cat4rward Shorty Headers Titanium Ceramic Coated

not much else I can do out here and pass smog, already have a diablo tune and SW axle back exhaust. Was hoping the shorty's would make a more deeper sound at best.

The Camaro LT1 already has shorty headers from the factory.

Waste of your money for shorty headers since you already have them from the factory. The GMPP Cold Air Intake will be a good addition to your Camaro!

It seems like unless you're over around 650-wheel, LTs aren't worth but from 15-20 when tunes are optimized (i.e. if the car was properly tuned with the stock manifolds/shorties). I know the head pipes and cats' become liabilities when around that level and past, but unless you're in that neighborhood, it seems you're making more noise than power. For what we have to deal with there, and LE getting smarter to mods', it's not really worth the effort, IMO.

No resonators on the SS. Those are secondary cats, and part of the emission system. Not monitored, so you could gut them but you'll fail smog if they see them removed.
