I can see how the cradle bushings and lockout kit could make a difference, but I can say with 100% certainty, that tires make a huge difference. With equal air pressure front to rear, my car has always been solid. On or off the strip. When I have my pressures drastically different like you need at the strip, I get a little wag that doesn't feel great, but I'm comfortable with. Now when I bolt on my new 17" rear drag radials, the car is very scary feeling, even with air pressure equalized. Put the stockers back on, and it's back to normal.

I have my old trusty but goodie Meiser accugage, time to put it to use.

I'll start at 32/32 and see what happens. What pressures are you running in the street?

I'm usually at 32 front and 29-30 rear on the street

Mine does the same thing. I believe the electronic differential is a big reason why this happens. The car is fighting for traction and that subtle wiggle (as opposed) to the typical sideways shuffle is how it manifests itself.

It sure is scary if it happens and you’re not ready for it.

that low in the rear. For dig racing or that's what the car like up top?

Oh Wow . . . I'm running 44 psi on all four corners on stock tires. It came from the dealership like this and I've kept it like that.

I really don't think it's traction, but still may be eLSD. My 1st experience was on the drag strip at the 1000' mark with great traction and already rolling at 100mph.

Bushings seem to be a more likely cause.

If I know I'm going to do some digs, I drop it even more. At least to the manuals 26 recommendation. Just everyday driving, I run the 29 to 30 because the lower pressure adds a little grip, and it still handles good.

I agree. For some reason it multiplies significantly with my 17" drag radials. Their super soft and taller sidewalls adds to it, I'm sure. Would solid bushings or the lockouts cure it? I'd certainly hope so, but any reduction in the wag would be a huge welcome. I'll do one of the two at some point and find out.

Same here... I put 18" MT on and almost couldn't control it. I highlighted this issue two years ago and it seemed like no one else experienced it. Now it seems pretty common.

I can't add too much at this point since I don't have the car anymore but I did find the original PDR video that shows me trying to pass on a two lane highway and getting squirly.

I run the 17 inch M/T ET Street R's in mine and at the track yesterday it ran a 10.33 at 135 MPH with no movement on the big end... straight as an arrow! I was running 20 pounds of air in the rears. I could have steered it with my knee.. stock stuff under my car.

If it’s not traction then I’m gonna go with the way the electronic diff slips the clutches to keep the car going straight or to maintain the line during a turn (if it senses steering input).

I think this is just one of those things that these cars will be known for with no resolution.
