I am looking for any guidance on drop spindles for the front of a 5th gen camaro. Any pointers would be great.

I don't think anyone makes drop spindles, for the camaro. Justice Pete was working on some but they were going to be to expensive to produce. Springs or coilovers are the only way to lower . I have bmr 1.4 drop in front and 1.0 drop in the rear, happy with the results

Blu808 makes spindles but it is a pretty hardcore track set up and runs about $5000. Like was mentioned above, lowering springs and coil overs are going to cover 99.999% of Camaro owners needs.

I am not sure why I come to these forums for help. I had a simple question, and the application warrants it (dedicated NASA SU car).

Because you got a good / decent answer, judging from your response by the second post?

Don't know LSX Camaro myself, but I suspect he was just busting your balls.

There's a lot of good info here. The guys at BMR, Apex, JDP, Justice Pete, Bo White, Dropspeed, Cornerspeed, X25, Back Eddy, Mgizzle... alright, I could list individual posters for about three pages, there are tons of knowledgeable and helpful folks around here.

Apologies if I misspelled anyone's name, just closed on my new home, been moving, exhausted, but too wound up to sleep yet. Y'all know I appreciate you.

It is the internet though, so, you know, if something rubs you the wrong way, meh. Could be a misunderstanding, could be the point behind the post was to get you a bit riled, who knows?

A bunch of us were hoping the folks over at JPSS could get drop spindles done economically for the 5th gens. They were working on that, but the costs, given the potential volume, were pretty enormous. So, as you've already seen, Blue's kind of the option.

Best of luck with your project. If you feel like it, post a build thread sometime. There's a bunch of us that like reading about that sort of thing.

I was in No way busting balls at all. I work on Corvettes and Camaros exclusively at a premiere shop in Southern California. Just sharing my experience. Drop spindles are expensive period. And not worth it at all in my opinion. My question is, what is the intended use of the vehicle? Drop springs are a lot cheaper. Are you just looking to go lower? I would advise my customer to go with coilovers. Now you have the best of all worlds.

Our front suspension package is not just a lowering spindle. In fact, raising the wheel bearing location 25mm helps with proper roll center of the lower control arm when the car is lowered to the optimal level. Our front suspension system also replaces the factory double pivot lower control arms and replaces them with a 4130 Cromoly "A" lower control arm. In addition to those benefits the ackerman angle is optimized to reduce scrubbing while cornering, tie rod pickup location is also changed for quicker steering and added steering angle.

There are also substantial weight savings with our kit.
