Valve Train Check-Up

Well, I decided to pull the valve covers and take a look at the rockers and BTR bearing kit to see how it was going after 10k miles. Everything looks good and I just wiggled the rockers around and they all seem to be OK. I do think I have one lifter that gets a tiny bit of noise out once hot but I guess that is just the way LS engines are with a cam, 100% dead quiet may not be realistic. All in all, everything is great and car is running perfect.

I oughta go ahead and do that probably around the end of the year. Have you made it out to the track with your current setup?

Well, just once when I spun the tires really bad and blew the run, that was it. The track is an hour away and I don't really get into drag racing much anyway so I am not worried about it.

I was going to do that originally but the head guy said steel is more durable and Ti is only needed for 7000 and above rpm.
