Automatics don't shift like manual at all. It's a totally different process so there is a delay. It's not just a lever moving a gear into position. It's a bunch of things going on inside the unit.

Ok... did some agressive TAPshifting... both shifts were .325... so i think that is actually slightly worst than just plain S mode... Everything I've tried TAPshifts my ETs were a tad slower than just S mode...
I can post a screen shot... LATER... LOL

Next time I'm at the track I'll data log all 3 (D, S and M) that way I'll have more consistent conditions rather than me just goofing on the street... But from my casual observations there really is no advantage to Tapshift in the 1320.. And we could benefit from firming up the shifts a bit... Should at least be chirping 2nd! LOL!

so its better then drive. so i guess u have to give up a little time to shift when you want.
scrming when the camaro is in S at what rev does it shift?
