CFD's removeable crossmember fabrication
OK, I'm just a guy in his garage so I'm sure I didn't do this perfectly, but it seems to work great and super tight. Thanks George.
Shameless self promoting video... https://youtu.be/2iqekORDMu8 . . . . . .

Looks great! I just had mine installed this past Friday. Now time to remove the oil pan and replace that oil pan gasket. I have everything out, just need to wiggle it out, ugh!

My pan was still hard to get out but much easier without the crossmember. Still had to shift the rack forward and loosen the sway bar mounts to be able to move the rack far enough forward. The pickup tube hangs in there too.

GREAT job & video ...thanks for taking the time to make it! I wonder how many others who did this also welded the inside of the flange top to the crossmember stub to compensate for not being able to weld the outside flange top to the stub?

Yea, 2 of them are basically full, the other is a transfer drum to get the full barrels to the ground from the bed of the truck. They had ispropyl alcohol originally in them.

I would think all if they read CFD's instructions.

Anyone happen to know someone in the DFW area who could do the cut and weld for me after I get these flanges?
