Splash Guards: A Question About Options

So I've seen RPI's splash guards and GM's splash guards. In some pictures, I like the way GM's guards look, but I'm not sure they'll look all that great on my Aqua Blue Metallic SS. So then I saw the RPI ones and thought they may be a good solution.

So here's my question: can I easily swap between the two guards or would I have to drill different holes or something for each set?

Also, does anyone have pictures (close up and from a distance) of the splash guards (both types)? Especially pictures of them on Aqua Blue Metallic Camaros?

I've seen some pictures around here, but I'd love to see more to help my finalize my decision. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the picture! By the way, do the guards ever scrape against speed bumps?

I have not experienced any problems with speed bumps or any other road hazards. Splashguards are not difficult to install and offer some additional protection that is well worth the effort.

The ones I have are thing black flaps that do not require drilling/tape etc. They are almost not visible from the sides.

RPI's require no drilling and attaches to factory holes.

GM's does require drilling.

you need to drill one hole in bottom of g.m.'s spash guard.. easy as pie....i dont think your color comes in these however...so far most have used black and does not look bad. that is unless you get them painted yourself to your color..but all in all..they look better then rubber store bought ones....IMHO...

oops..there is one hole to drill in rear bottom of each guard..and 2 holes in front guard...but its NOT like drilling a real hole..its all plastic..

I got the GM guards and opted to not drill any holes when I put them on. So far, the tape and the two mounting screws already on the car has worked fine.

I've had them on for about two months and no issues. Maybe as time goes on I will have to make corrections but no concerns right now.
