Lower Fog light fell out of socket - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just notice my fog light on driver's side fell out of place. When I turn light on, it still works but it is not in the housing. Has this happened to anyone else? If so how hard is it to fix?

Pop it back in.

Yep, just like Vegas said, just pop it back in. Odds are that you bumped into something perhaps a parking spot curb just enough to flex the lower part of the front facia and the light popped out.

No big deal.

You know !! with our cars having long ass noses you’d figure gm would if put a front camera on it for us ..

If they're the 5202 type bulbs, yeah, some brands do not clip in good. The real
fog lamps use 9006 bulbs, twist in, they never fall out.

The ones with the 5202 are more like DRLs, they're only 24watts. I changed
mine to HIDs, 55watts, very bright, too bright, I get hi-beam flashed all the
time now, so I have to change them to something else.

6:30 am, running the backroads due to construction at about 40 mph cause I'm worried about deer. Managed to hit a cat on the right front corner. Popped it right out. Somehow managed to break one of the mounting tabs for the brake duct where it mounts to the inner fender well. That's alot of flex.

Yep mine passengers side fell out and popped the housing back in place. 10 min job done.
