Over spinning procharger

Is anyone here overspinning their procharger and by how much? I’m making good horsepower but have more than enough motor to handle more. I already have my f1a-94 maxed with an 8.25 crank damper and 4 inch supercharger pulley. I just want another couple psi but don’t want to hurt my procharger either. Just curious of who’s doing it (if anyone) and what your experience is. Thank you!

There is a little room. But how much power are you making currently?

Badazz setup my friend!

Call Procharger and bend their ear. At least you can find out what RPM your supercharger is rated for and with your current crank and pulley sizes they should be able to estimate the output. Maybe it is time to step up to the F-1X

I’m making 985 on E. The f1a-94 is rated at 74,000 rpm. I’m pretty much right on the max right now. That’s kind of why I’m asking. Thanks for the replies guys. I’ll definitely call procharger.

Man I wish I could find a 8.25 lower pulley for my 12 rib setup.

I’m only 8 rib still and have no belt slip. If I ever upgrade though I’ll be looking into probably going cog. I just don’t know if I want to change the whole set up just to fit a bigger procharger on there and lose so much low end and drivability. That’s why I’m trying to get all I can out of what I’ve got.

9.0 lower, 3.55 upper on a f1-a 94, revving to 7000rpm.

Have many cars over spinning the blowers. They don't dome alive till you do.

Very happy to hear this man. Thank you! You're overspinning the hell of her. I will definitely be going smaller on the pulley in the near future.
