Whats it worth?

I've been looking at getting a really nice 67-69 Camaro and found a beautiful 69. He is interested in doing some trading with my 2010. My question is if I were to sell my car what could I get out of it? 2010 pace car 9700 miles, Has been cammed, ls3 conversion, v-max TB, 3700 stall, 3.70 rear gear, kooks headers and full exhaust, CAI, asanti 3 piece wheels.

I think his is worth in the 45-47,000 range from what I've seen. What would be a good trade price?

Thanks for any help.

If you went to Carmax, they would offer you 23k for you car. It's not a rare snowflake and the mods are worthless to a dealer. Add the fact that the six gen is moments away from release and you quickly lose value on the fifth gen.

Where in the world do you think you'd get 45-47K , unless maybe you're talking peso's. I agree with the above, somewhere in the range of 21-23K on a trade. A private sale you'd likely get a bit more, the right buyer could pay a few K more.

I think he meant the 1969 Camaro was worth 45-47k. Not sure...

Its not going to be an even trade obviously, I now its not worth even close to 45,000. WHAT IS IT WORTH was the question. I'm trying to decide if his trade offer is good or if I'm better of selling mine outright and buying his.

I would think selling it out right you could get around $28k. You almost never get your money back on mods.

This is from my original post, its pretty obvious I'm not talking about mine being worth 45-47000, and not thinking even trade obviously.

25-27k max for yours via private party. It's low mileage so maybe 30k to the right buyer who might care about the pace car stuff...

I was thinking I would be lucky to get around $30,000.

What's he think the 69's worth? I believe you'd be better off with what you have. It's lightyears ahead of the 69 .

Difficult question, a car is only worth whatever the person is willing to pay for it.

This is the car. Its new top to bottom front to back with suspension updates, 5spd manual, AC , 4 wheel disc ETC<ETC. He is asking $55,000 but think it would actually sell for 45-47K from others I've seen sell.

I love the '69 but this post is spot on. From a value and performance standpoint, the gen5 wins. You have a beautiful and fast gen5, and you're literally throwing money away on an older, slower car because of the shell around it. You don't strike me as an antique collector so I would just stick with what you have.
