I don't know this dealer, but with an MSRP of $41,000 this is the deal of the year. This is a late build (5/10) 2010 in perfect condition with a GM Certified warranty, only 450 miles ! Seems too good to be true, but here it is:

"AS IS" just means that the dealership isn't offering a warranty. But so what? GM is offering at the very least, the remainder of the 3yr/36K factory bumper-to-bumper warranty plus the 5yr/100K power train warranty. In addition, its a GM Certified used car so it has even more warranty.

Wow, I would have jumped on that deal.

Then sold the wheels and bought a set of the RS 20's.

Would bring your purchase price under $30k - that's a steal.

You do not get more warranty buddy. You get 5yr/100k powertrain LIMITED warranty and 1yr/12,000 mile warranty. I would consider that significantly less than the warranty of a new car.

Why wouldn't the buyer be entitled to the balance of the factory warranty?

Larry is actually correct... "certified"means you get an extra 1yr/12000 miles ADDED to the end of your 3/36k. It effectively makes it a 4/48k warranty from the date of inservice, which on this car is sometime in May. So you really do get a longer warranty than new if you buy it now. One of the ways the dealers get you to pay a bit more for 'certified' used.
